  1. Zero emissions: The E360 Electric System is environmentally friendly and does not generate any vehicle exhaust emissions. This significantly reduces a vehicle’s carbon footprint.
  2. Energy efficiency: The E360 Electric System is particularly efficient at converting electrical into mechanical energy. Energy reserves are stored in batteries and used as required. 
  3. Noise reduction: The E360 Electric System generates virtually no noise or vibrations, which is a major advantage in noise-sensitive scenarios such as city centers and night-time work.

QUICK IMPLEMENTATION

The drivetrain – consisting of inverter and e-motor – provides highest dynamic responses and powerful performance output over a wide speed range.

The powertrain control unit transforms a bunch of components into a [generally usable] system. Due to completely inhouse developed software we can offer flexible solutions.

The system - every component, every part, every feature - was developed according to the v-model approach. 

22 kW recharging power is always equipped. For fast or even high power charging we also offer DC-charging to enable automotive standard charging.

One of our design characteristics are standard interfaces. The electric drive system is also easy to implement by using similar or even the same interfaces as conventional diesel engines. Short delivery times complete the package.

In addition to electric motors, alternative fuels are a key component in improving the CO² balance of combustion engines. In addition to biodiesel, DEUTZ engines can also be fuelled with synthetic fuel or hydrogen.

Synthetic fuel made from hydrogen and CO2 from the environment is considered CO2 neutral if the hydrogen is produced using 100% renewable electricity. This is also the case when the hydrogen is used directly to power an internal combustion engine, when so-called green hydrogen is used. You can read more about this on our Fuels of the future page.
